Front Steel Bull Bar Toyota Land Cruiser 200 Series (LC 200) (2008 – 2015)

Technical & Installation Checklist
-
Airbag Compatibility: Ensure the bar is explicitly certified as airbag-compliant for your specific year range. ARB, TJM, and Ironman all utilize engineered crumple zones in their mounting brackets to ensure the factory airbags deploy correctly in a high-speed crash.
-
Parking Sensors & Washers: If you have a Sahara or VX trim from this era, make sure to order the specific bar variant or plug kit that accommodates the factory parking sensors and headlight washers.
-
Winch Fitment: Because the 2008–2015 models have plenty of room behind the bar, standard low-profile winches fit easily. A 12,000 lb winch is highly recommended due to the LC200’s heavy gross vehicle mass (GVM).
-
Weight & Suspension: Installing any of these bars will add roughly 60–75kg (132–165 lbs) directly to the nose of the vehicle. If you do not upgrade your front coil springs to a heavier load rating, the front end will sag by 20–30mm, causing a harsh ride and accelerated tire wear.

Narrowing it down to the 2008–2015 models (the pre-facelift and first facelift versions) simplifies things a bit, as these years don’t have the complex, low-mounted Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) radar grille integration found in the 2016+ models. However, they do have their own specific design traits and winch-mounting nuances.
